Like a lot of good stories, Anthony Bourdain’s travel-food epic, “No Reservations,” is ending where it began – in this case, in New York City.
“Or, a place right next door,” admits Bourdain in tonight’s series finale. “A place I’ve never really gotten to know. Brooklyn.” After eight years of exploring the world and its food, during which Bourdain morphed from celebrity chef to globe-trotting storyteller, he’s ending his popular Travel Channel series on a high note, with a visit to a borough right under his nose.
